About me
Having grown up in the tea business, Chris (Johnston) MacNitt started formally working in the family business in 2010. He was responsible for all tea quality and development. In 2017, he took a role at Starbucks, where he was responsible for quality and working with suppliers to elevate the taste of the leaf purchased. In addition, he leveraged his skills as a blend developer to create teas for the Starbucks Reserve program. Eventually, he was promoted to tea development lead, where he spent several years working globally to facilitate business development in the tea space, including optimization and new product development. Today he is an independent business development consultant focusing on beverages, particularly tea.
